THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF LOVE..

I actually wanted to write this yesterday but the tasks I got in my hands couldn't allow me.
Yeah we all know what February 14th represent worldwide. It's a day of Love... St. Valentine's Day.

People dedicate that day in showing their significant other how much they love and cherish them. But I am one of those who don't believe love should be demonstrated just on a particular day. Opinions and choices differ I agree and it's always better to do that which works for you right? Yeah it is.

To me Love is better defined and given out when one has first discovered oneself enough, when one has learnt to love and appreciate oneself first for you can't give what you don't have.

We often strive to find that partner who would love us so wholly and fill up the emptiness in our lives but truthfully you can't find any of such individual because the only person who could do that loving and filling is actually you. You must accept yourself and be able to enjoy your own company first. Do you know many find it hard staying alone with themselves? So how do you intend discovering self when you don't even know what being alone with self feels like? I'm not trying to talk you out of the love celebration. Not at all.
I just want to use this season to spread a message I hold dear, a message that so many out there deserve to hear. Self love is the beginning of your journey into the world of love.

Discover self, get attuned to self, love self , pamper and nurture self. Place a great value on self for you are the one and only one who can give self that which it desires. Until you are at peace and harmony with self, until you have found that spark in you, fully in love with self;  then and only then can you extend such to another. No one else can truly make us happy. We must be happy within ourselves, before we can be ready to share happiness. Being happy  within yourself means you understand what love is.

We cannot take love-we can only give LOVE. When you know that universal love within you, you know all love. It is then you are ready for love and that personal love you have always desired will come to you. Find that you- the real you and you will know love forevermore.

Enjoy every moment of your life and the season. Remember love isn't a one day thing. Live a lifestyle of love. Show love to all around you, not just those you feel that deserve it but to all for we are admonished to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
